David Celento, founder of DigiFabLab, is an award-winning architect with over two decades of professional experience. His specific area of expertise is in digital design and digital fabrication topics—the central topics of his forthcoming book to be published by John Wiley and Sons. Celento currently serves on the Board of Directors for ACADIA (the Association for Computer Aided Design in Architecture) and was selected to represent the organization as the Outreach Officer.

Celento previously ran the CAD:CAM:LAB at Harvard’s Graduate School of Design and co-taught a digital fabrication class. Other teaching includes: Carnegie Mellon University, The Pennsylvania State University, and Norwich University. Invited digital fabrication workshops include: Siggraph, University of Oregon, University of Arkansas, University of Sao Paulo (Brazil), Izmir School of Economics (Turkey), and Oregon College of Art & Craft. Accepted peer reviewed research and authored publications include: Harvard Design Magazine, ACADIA, eCAADe, ASCAD, SIGraDi, CAADRIA, and ASLA conferences.
